trust me, I understand.

I lived most of my life out of alignment. Trapped in cycles of self-doubt and criticism, I believed I was both “too much” and “not enough.” 

From the outside my life seemed perfect–I served students, families, and teachers as a leader in Special Education. I worked in the corporate space as an Education Director. I married a wonderful person who gave me two incredible children. It was a beautiful life, but it wasn’t my life. Inside I was crumbling.‍ ‍

When my Dad passed away, I reached my breaking point. There had to be a different way forward, a way to live that felt good and right for me. So I dedicated my life to getting in touch with my Soul. 

I devoted countless hours to coaching, meditation, and Kundalini Yoga. I devoured podcasts and self-help books, attended workshops and women’s groups. Slowly, I began to heal. The constant loops of criticism in my mind got quieter. I learned compassion for all parts of me, even the scary ones. I examined my past and forgave it.

This gave me the courage to act from my true desires. I left my career, made the difficult decision to end my marriage, and said goodbye to the life we’d built. I embraced more pain and sorrow than I’ve ever felt. This change made space for my Soul to come alive.

With my Soul as my compass, I began to explore what I truly wanted. I chose to study with Martha Beck and became a certified life coach. My ex and I embarked on the journey of amicable co-parenting. We relocated our family and welcomed the support that would help us transform. I embraced my sexuality and explored new relationship dynamics. 

The confidence and vitality that continues to build within me is undeniable. I can finally say, “I LOVE ME FOR ME!” Self-discovery is a life-long journey, and I’m elated to be on this ride.

Living my authentic life includes…

  • Proudly living the full spectrum of my human experience.  I am a weird, wild, warm, adventurous, soulful woman

  • Yoga, meditation, and breathwork. I trained as a Hatha Yoga instructor, and Kundalini Yoga has changed my life

  • Spending time in nature. Give me the beach, mountains, forests, sunrises, sunsets, stargazing and the moon. I’m in awe of it all

  • Being a Spiritual Baddie. I love experiencing my connection to the divine, and having fun doing it!

  • Dancing my heart out every chance I get. The connection I feel to music and my body is a beautiful outlet and sacred space for me

  • Embracing my astrology – I’m a Sagittarius Sun, Sagittarius Rising, Gemini Moon with multiple Scorpio placements

  • Being a mom to my two incredible girls.  They have taught me so much about unconditional love, patience, and resilience
